New York Pizza Company

Best pizza found in Louisville KY so far. Top quality ingredients and fresh made dough. You get to see your choices of slices before you buy. Each slice then heated up just for you, like in New York. Crust gets perfectly browned on the bottom. Free parking. Restaurant NOT accessible (ADA). Curious that there was a grab bar in the restroom after having to go upstairs to get to it. Worth a try for the true pizza lovers. Cheesecake was excellent also. I would recommend. We will return.

I don’t usually leave reviews but if you like New York style pies, this is the place. Great options by the slice in house or hit up the carry out for a full pie. This is the best in the Louisville area.

Perfect for walking in to get a NY Slice of pizza to either dine in, or to go. Just like in New York and New Jersey, there is a huge glass display case at the counter with several large pies for you to choose a slice from. They take credit cards. The place is small, and I actually got lucky since there was only 1 person in line in front of me. It was 4:30pm on a weekday. I am not sure what the weekends are like, just a heads up.

If you’re in the mood for some great pizza, this is the place! We were driving around looking for food and this caught our eye. Genuine find! Amazing, kind service!! But most importantly, the pizza is perfection!

The best pizza in the city! Real ingredients, I don’t feel bloated( like how I feel eating out at other places) . You definitely get your moneys worth here. Every pizza I’ve had from here has been a 10/10. The cheesecake and cheese bread are also delicious. It’s very rare to find great food and great customer service these days but here you can definitely expect to get ‘all in one’. This place is amazing!

Margherita pizza is so tasty and savory, served at perfect temperature, fresh from the oven. Every bite a delight. Jamaican jerk wings are tender and delish! Love to support local Family owned businesses.

I’d give this place a 4.5 if I could. I’m always interested in a New York style slice, so was stoked to try it. The ambiance is cool and there are tables inside and outside. There are quite a few pizza slices to choose from which is nice. I went with the cheese slice and the godfather slice. The cheese was fantastic and I’d give it a 5. The godfather was ok, and served lukewarm, so I’ll try something else next time. Service was fast and friendly.

We never visit a city without checking out at least one pizza place… and NY Pizza Company was a great choice! I joked that we would be tough critics, as my husband is an East Coast native and we both love NYC pizza. This is the first pizza outside of NYC that we have had that delivers on the promise of being New York style! The crust is perfectly thin, with the right amount of crispness & tenderness. Foldability? 10 out of 10. The ingredients are fresh, the staff is great, the pizza was still delicious after an 8 minute drive back to our stay- but one piece did not survive the 15 minutes we circled for a parking spot in the heart of NuLu! That slice of pizza made what could have been a frustrating experience enjoyable for us as we discussed what a great slice it was. (That slice was the Godfather.) Locals, do this place good- we will likely never be here again, but keep this gem going just in case we make our way back to Louisville some day!
